Days in Lockdown: 2

Left the resort today on an errand - one of a nature that is authorised under the Royal Decree; basically a small and very specific list of acceptable reasons to leave the confines of your home, which bizarrely includes going to the hairdressers and buying tobacco. Neither of which are of any use to me.

The roads heading towards the coast, usually quite busy on a Sunday, were eerily quiet. All shops were shut today. Although in fairness, most do on a Sunday here anyway.

Back at home we binged on Netflix, ate too much and drank whatever alcohol was in the house.

In summary, it’s all been rather oddly reminiscent of Christmas time. Less the tinsel, crackers and John Lewis adverts.
