Days in Lockdown: 1

Slightly worrying today there has been a positive test for the virus here on our resort, and this is making everyone here just that little bit more nervous.

We’re allowed to leave the house to go to the supermarket. Fortunately to date no one on here has been idiotically panic buying.

But our biggest concern at the moment is whether we have enough essential items to see us through the quarantine period. A stocktake this morning suggests we may have seriously underestimated our daily quota of staples. Most likely due to Jo’s suggestion late last night that we have “just one more glass before bedtime”. Several times. I suspect therefore that over the coming days things are likely to get much tougher. But with the sun shining brightly, there could well be worse places to be sit out a lockdown.
